And this seems to have been the time I had to do it all. Had to replace a Senior VP, two Senior Managers and a host of middle management who were not managing at all. I dislike it when, on a day I hold open court for any and all of my employees to come to me, an entire division comes and tells me that things are not going well.

Yes, I do like an attractive bottom line, but sacrificing the soft costs for the hard yen is not the way to do it. I have trust to rebuild now.

In other, more pleasant, news...Yuushi, have you chosen a color scheme for your new room yet?

Well, I think that the fact that you're willing to rebuild the management at all, will create a lot of trust. But I have no doubt that you'll get the trust back. You're very open with all of your employees and willing to admit that you went wrong.

I feel as though I should have seen it coming or could have prevented it from getting this far.

All the other divisions are now being carefully measured as well, which has my upper management on pins and needles right now.

I don't suppose you'd like to come and take a nap on my couch, would you? I might be persuaded to take one with you for a few minutes.

Well, you can't have eyes everywhere, can you? And if you do, that would be sorta creepy too. Like that NSA thing in America that people are so angry about. You can't do everything in the world, Kei-kun. One step at a time.

And I think it might do them some good, to be on tiptoes. Things like that help efficiency rates.

Ahh, but that's okay too. Everyone makes mistakes. It's how we deal with them that matters and you're dealing just fine. Honestly Kei-kun, you're beating yourself up more than the people who were experiencing corruption were.

And yes, that's always good :) They won't be doing that if they're on high alert.

Oh, yikes, man. I'm glad you got that sorted out, but it sounds like a real pain. Glad to hear things are better now, though. When you get time, you should come over for dinner, or something. Arashi can talk your ear off, since I know you always love it when she does it.
